Love in Focus: a Golden Engagement Session in Gisborne

There’s something incredibly special about photographing couples on the cusp of forever. Engagement sessions are always a favourite of mine - they're calm, joyful, and full of quiet little in-between moments that speak volumes.

This recent shoot in Gisborne was no exception. We timed it for golden hour, when the sun melts into the horizon and everything feels a little softer. She had dreamed of that glow, and Gisborne absolutely delivered.

It's these kinds of sessions that remind me why I do this. Creating honest, emotive engagement photos in Gisborne’s stunning natural landscapes is always such a privilege.
