This rainy couple photoshoot in Gisborne was everything I had dreamed of creating - moody, cinematic, and full of real connection. We embraced the pouring rain and let the weather shape the story.

I’ve always wanted to photograph a couple in heavy rain, and this session finally brought that vision to life. The dark clouds, soft light, and movement of the rain turned every frame into something that looked straight out of a film.

This session reminded me why I love trying new things and pushing creative boundaries. Sometimes the most powerful images are created when we stop waiting for perfect conditions and simply step into the moment.
